World Sailing to Inspect LaserPerformance Facilities?

According to a statement by LaserPerformance today on their Facebook Page, World Sailing intends to inspect the building facilities of the company, that was decertified by the Laser class.

"World Sailing has now proposed three dates for joint World Sailing -ILCA Laser inspection of our Banbury factory (May 28,29 or 30).  LaserPerformance has agreed and is waiting for confirmed date."

And LaserPerformance to add:

"Will ILCA stand by its word to make sure Laser sailing and events are not hurt by issuing plaques after factory inspection certification?"

In a related development, the Spanish Laser Association has issued a statement similar to the one by the Italian association, calling for resignations at the International Laser Class Association.

See the letter by the AECIL below, addressed to other national assocations to do the same.
